Strawberry season is HERE!!!!
If you’d like to include strawberry picking in your outdoor plans, be sure to visit Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County online for a list of U-Pick farms in S. Cayuga, Cortland, Schuyler, Tioga and Tompkins Counties, at:  As with U-Pick farms of any kind, its a good idea to call ahead and confirm crop availability. Enjoy!

Senior Farmer’s Market Coupons are here and will be available for pickup from the Office for the Aging starting Tuesday, July 7, 2020.  A table will be set up outside the office at 214 West Martin Luther King Jr. Street, Ithaca every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9-12:30pm.  Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to change our usual ways of distribution and recipients will be required to wear masks and maintain social distancing.

We are partnering with Foodnet and Cornell Cooperative Extension on distribution, however some of the previous sites are not available this year due to COVID-19. For more information on when and where the coupons will be distributed, or if you are having difficulty accessing our office, call the Tompkins County Office for the Aging at 607-274-5482.
