Guest speaker Saleh Kalantari, PhD, EDAC, is an assistant professor in Cornell University’s Department of Design and Environmental Analysis. We are learning that Virtual Reality, or “VR” is not just for kids or gamers! VR participants wear headsets that gave them 360-degree views and sounds, making it seem like they had been all but dropped into the actual experience. VR keeps the brain and body active and can change the way we learn about new things. Dr. Kalantari’s research promotes enhancing the relationship between people and their created environment, which has shown positive results on cognition and social engagement in older adults. Join us to learn about this fascinating work!
Ticket cost is $25.00 per person, payable in advance at Lifelong, by phone (with credit card), online here, or at the door with prior reservation. Includes catered lunch and gratuity. Parking is available at Lifelong, off-street parking, and at the Seneca St. lot.
REGISTER NO LATER THAN MAY 14th!
