MEETINGS
Lansing Senior
Citizens meet every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 12 noon.
 |
In January
through
June, September and November, we meet in the All Saints Church, |
|
In July and
August we meet at Myers Park on the shore of Cayuga Lake. |
|
At all
these meetings, we have a dish-to-pass luncheon, entertainment, and a business
meeting. |
|
In
December, we have an annual Christmas Party. |
|

March 4-Sat. "Will Rogers
Follies" at Clemens Center, Elmira, NY. Chicken and Biscuits lunch
before show at Curly's Chicken House - Cost is $72 per person. Due by
Feb 8. Depart LUMC 10:45 am. Arrive home at 5:00 pm. |

July 7-Fri. Cortland
Repertory Theater - "Murder on the Nile" Cost is $52 due by June 1. Box
lunch at 12:45 before show. Depart LUMC 12:15 pm. Arrive home 5:00 pm. |

Sept. 19-Tues.
Merry-Go-Round Playhouse - "My Way"-a Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra,
in Auburn, with supper at Sunset Restaurant. Cost is $65 due by August
9. Depart LUMC 12:45 pm. Arrive home about 7:00 pm. |

Sept. 25-28-Mon.-Thurs.
Washington DC. Detail of trip not yet firmed up. Considerable walking
will be required. |

Oct. 10-Tues.
Canandaigua Races, Gaming and lunch.
Meal choice is Baked Haddock or Roast Turkey. Cost is $31 due by Sept.
27. Depart LUMC 10 am. Arrive home 6 pm. |

Oct. 26-Thurs. Penn's Peak
Resort-"The Glenn Miller Orchestra" Jim Thorpe, PA Show & lunch. Cost is
$82 due Sept. 13. Depart LUMC 7:30 am. Arrive home 7:30 pm. |

Nov. 28-Tues. "Ridge Road
Station & Christmas Company-Crescent Beach Hotel Cabaret Show" Trip
includes bus, dinner (Prime Rib, Salmon or Chicken Parmesan) and show.
Cost is $62 per person due Nov. 8. Depart LUMC 10:30 am. Arrive home
9:30 pm.

our group gives one scholarship to a Lansing graduating senior.

Each
Christmas we send holiday greeting cards to those who are ill and shut-ins in our
community. |

In July, we
invite all the Lansing town employees as our luncheon guests. |
