Description: Sepsis is a life-threatening
response to an infection and is the number one
cause of death in the hospital, but it begins
outside the hospital in the community for 80% of
the patients. Don’t let this happen to you! Come
and learn how you can advocate and empower
yourself and understand sepsis. When it comes

about the program developed by the Sepsis

Presenter: Sue Ellen Graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She also holds a Master Degree in Health Care Administration. She has worked as Executive Director at Visiting Nurse Service of Ithaca and Tompkins County for the last ten years and has previous experience in home care on a national level in various areas of the country. Sue Ellen continues to have much interest in developing innovative ways to better support patients in the home care setting to age in place.
